Tin & Tallow began with a simple idea: serve food we’d actually want to eat—done right, without overcomplicating it.

What started as a food truck quickly became something more. In October 2023, we hit the streets of Hilton Head Island serving smash burgers made with quality beef and cooked in rich, flavorful tallow. The response was immediate. Locals showed up, came back, and told their friends. By January 2025, Tin & Tallow opened its doors as a brick-and-mortar café, giving us the space to do even more of what we love—breakfast through dinner.

Mornings at Tin & Tallow are all about starting the day strong. We serve breakfast sandwiches on buttery croissants, hearty breakfast burritos, and fried chicken biscuits alongside craft coffee made to order. Whether you’re grabbing something quick or settling in, breakfast here is meant to feel easy and satisfying.

As the day rolls on, our smash burgers take center stage. Thin, crispy-edged patties cooked in tallow, layered with quality ingredients, and built for maximum flavor. It’s straightforward food, done with intention—no shortcuts, no gimmicks.

Lunch and dinner menus also feature fried chicken sandwiches, waffle fries (plain or truffle Parmesan), and rotating specials that keep things interesting while staying true to our roots.

Tin & Tallow isn’t just about the food. Our bar features a large craft beer selection with rotating taps and carefully chosen cans, giving locals and visitors plenty of options. We also offer cocktails, THC and CBD beverages, and non-alcoholic options—so everyone has something they can enjoy.
